Bookmarks from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA)
This is an interesting collection of bookmarks brought together and produced as Occasional Paper 20, July 2019 by The Bookmark Society, UK.
RoSPA was founded in 1917 and for over a hundred years has been active in training and campaigning in a number of areas – in the field of workplace safety, road safety, water safety, leisure safety and home safety.
The bookmarks were freely distributed as safety training resources between 1952 and 1985.
The artwork used to accompany the messages is also very interesting and the idea of a bookmark – paper or electronic may inspire OSH and FIRE managers and others responsible for safety and health to use similar ways of getting messages out to their workforce.
