Everyone worldwide knows that 2020 was like no other year ever. Worldwide, the Covid-19 pandemic has, and is still providing endless challenges and great sadness.
Perhaps now, as the New Year starts it is even more timely to re-assess our 2020 occupational safety and health resolutions and find solutions to the ones that we did not or could not complete!
In 2021 we still have the opportunity to keep assessing and reassessing how improvements can be made in the way we work – asking the questions such as is there a better way to do the job?
Many people returning to work after the festivities will, no doubt, be making plans to improve the standards of health and safety in their workplace because of Covid-19 and for many other reasons.
It is now even more important that the practices and systems in the workplace are constantly reviewed and if necessary, improved. This review may also indicate training requirements and updates and re-thinking how systems and services can be improved.
